I woke to the sound of serious rainfall this morning…and the street in front of our house is starting to look like some guy with a wooden boat & a bunch of animals might come rolling down at any moment. what the heck happened to August?
yes, yes, I know rain this time of the year does happen lots of places, but August in western WA is pretty much the only time you can consistenly count on dry weather!
but it’s kinda cozy, ya know; even though I know I have a gazillion things to do other than surf ‘n blog.
unfortunately, we just moved all the cardboard boxes, etc. out of the carport last weekend, so they’re out on the driveway turning into mush. sigh.
I saw in the paper that normal rainfall for August is 0.18 inches; this month, we’ve gotten 1.0 inches, most of it Friday and Saturday, I’m sure.
