quick notes while my brain is still fresh….
issue is that Ralph’s pharmacy (at my around-the-corner grocery store) won’t stock Plan B.
plan is to picket, to organize a boycott, at least thru the month of July. with pledges. I’ll be setting up the website. (but of course)
picketing will start June 28-30. we’ll have a booth at the unity in the community (anti-nazi) event on July 2, and then picketing again that evening. (note: give away condoms at protest?)
also, organizers (planboly@hotmail.com) are looking for volunteers to make complaints to the pharmacy board (?) because of legal implications.
everybody is to contact everybody they know about it.
That is so cool.
Question is the Ralph’s part of the chain because if it is then look to see what the corporate policy is as well so you will know if you are fighting just this store or the whole company. Plus if the corporation has a yes on Plan B (we stock it in our stores) then you can use that against the store too.
If not then you know how big a fight you are getting into not that you should stop but just know.

Different Ralph’s entirely! Not part of the Ralph’s in California, but a two-store chain based out of Olympia.
“Your” Ralphs is part of the national Kroger chain, same as Fred Meyers here. (FM stocks Plan B.) Our Ralphs is owned by a local family…I think the current president’s dad was “Ralph”.
Kinda weird, but true.
