tried casting on with 10s and it was very tight, much more comfortable to knit and a nicer drape on 11s.

I currently have: 214 stitches on the needle, and about 130 yards left of 547 total. It’s about 27†long and 60†wide
Need to have multiple of 6, so I THINK it will work if I don’t do 2 of the decreases in the first row of the edging.

Nope, my math was wrong (not only does the whole thing need to be divisible by 6, but each side needs to be divisible by 6 as well)
For other people checking on projects: your final row needs to be a number where (stitches-6)/2 is a multiple of six. (I THINK this is where the instruction of “after row 3†is important?)
But I should be able to manage it by decreasing 4 in the first edging row – two on each side, so probably turn one k1 into a k2tog at each end and right before the center panel
(I’m also wondering if somewhere I got my increases wrong somewhere in the body, since all the math seems to be slightly janky?)
