you know that Ray Bradbury story set on Venus? with the girl locked in the closet? we are having that sort of rain now.
it has not stopped for so much as 10 minutes since yesterday afternoon. rained most of Saturday, too.
and it’s quite the torrential rain. river and streets flooding, that sort of thing. oh, and a sinkhole opened up on the freeway. wtf?
our ‘moat’ is really earning its name this week. I will be very lucky (?) if I’m able to cross it in the morning.
even if I’d gotten around to buying raingear — which I haven’t — I wouldn’t ride in this weather!
also, I am tapping this out on my fancy-pants phone now that I’ve finally gotten it to communicate with my access point. 🙂
