don’t try this at home:

don’t try this at home: downloading 1999 tax forms from the IRS web site on a 56k modem (current connection: 42.6). should’a done this earlier – and not just downloading the files either. but that’s a long story that I’d rather not go into here. (actually, I’m not downloading these for me, oddly enough.)

but, if I can do this, then I can finally settle an argument, and get something else out from over me. yay!

it’s been fascinatingly strange weather today. colder than most of the last week; my fingertips are icy. lots of rain. but this morning, Chad woke me to the loveliest blue sky outside our bedroom window. note to self: always have bedroom in room with south-facing window.

oh, so much anxiety this

oh, so much anxiety this week. I keep saying “no good deed goes unpunished.” and I think I’ll just leave it at that.

but hey – my MRI came back, and it’s all good; nothing torn or broken. my bone marrow is in good shape too, not that I thought it wasn’t. 😛 Steve, the physical therapist, gave me more exercises, and said I was doing a lot better. yay!

gotta go take the chicken out of the marinade & cook it – thai peanut chicken, one of my favorites. <yum>

okay, I’m feeling better now.

okay, I’m feeling better now. getting ready to dash off to my doctor appointments. I’ve had the morning to just relax & work thru things slowly, which is good.

what a godawful morning. woke

what a godawful morning. woke tired – have 100s of emails in my work inbox, all related to stuff that’s screwed up with the new core – and my video card is going tits up. well, at least the IT guys said they can swap me out pretty easily, probably by Monday.

I think I’m gonna go pay some housecalls, and then hide in my office….

this is turning out to

this is turning out to be a very good week. the sun is shining, the leaves on the trees are green, and I’m getting lots of work done.
